    IDFPR Temporarily Removes In-Person Requirements for Dentists, Dental Hygienists

    Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department has become aware that opportunities for in-person CE courses have diminished and as a result, licensees may not be able to complete their in-person CE requirements. For this reason, the Department has drafted proposed Emergency Rules to temporarily remove the in-person requirement.

    Deadline this Friday, Nov. 20 to apply for CARES Act Provider Relief

    HFS received an allotment from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to distribute funds to Medicaid providers. To be clear, dental providers could have previously received funding from the federal HHS Provider Relief Program and still qualify for funding through the State’s CARES Pandemic Related Stability Payments Program through HFS.
