The Constitution & Bylaws of the Illinois State Dental Society are the primary documents describing the organization and governance of the Society. It provides for a variety of topics, including:

• The structure of ISDS
• The various membership categories
• How the Society conducts its business
• How disputes are handled
• The Society's relationship to the national and local dental organizations

The Constitution & Bylaws establishes the legal framework within which the Society operates, and the documents may only be changed by a decision of the chief governing body, the House of Delegates.
