Chauncey Cross Award

Once a year, DENT-IL-PAC recognizes the DENT-IL-PAC director who has the highest percentage of DENT-IL-PAC,   Governor’s Club, and President’s Club members in their component and branch.  The Chauncey Cross Award was previously known the Art Dunn Award after Dr. Arthur Dunn, a politically-minded member dentist from 1947-1983.  In 2010, DENT-IL-PAC renamed the award the Chauncey Cross Award after a dentist who had championed and protected the profession for over 30 years.  Since 2011, three awards have been given annually: one for local components with less than 100 members; one for components with 100 or more members; and one to a branch of the Chicago Dental Society.
