The Constitution and Bylaws of the Illinois State Dental Society are the primary documents describing the organization and governance of the Society. It provides for a variety of topics, including:

  • The structure of ISDS
  • The various membership categories
  • How the Society conducts its business
  • How disputes are handled
  • The Society's relationship to the national and local dental organizations

The Constitution and Bylaws establishes the legal framework within which the Society operates, and the documents may only be changed by a decision of the chief governing body, the House of Delegates.
