IDFPR License Renewal Portal is Now Open

Due to the high volume of online renewals resulting from the recent renewal window opening for multiple professions, IDFPR is experiencing some performance issues. If you experience delays in the renewal process, please save your renewal changes and return to the website later to complete your renewal.

The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) renewal portal is now open. IDFPR sent email notices last week. If your information was not current on the IDPFR website, you may not have received a notice. Please change your information by clicking here: https://www.idfpr.com/applications/LicenseReprint/.

NOTE!!!!! If you obtained your original license prior to 2014you will be required to register and create a new account before proceeding to the renewal application. To renew, visit the Online Renewal website https://ilesonline.idfpr.illinois.gov/DFPR/Default.aspx.and follow the instructions listed.

IDFPR is working to improve their capacity for online renewal traffic and hope to implement performance optimization throughout the week.

As a reminder, dentists must submit a renewal application for each individual license, specialty license (if applicable) and controlled substance license.

Although the license renewal has been extended to December 31st, all continuing education courses, including proof of current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Safe Opioid Prescribing Practices and Sexual Harassment Prevention are required to be completed by September 30th.  ISDS provides courses at a discounted price to ISDS members. Click here for more information.
