I'm a dentist in Illinois. Do my employees and patients still need to wear masks while in my practice? The answer is yes.
Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker announced that the state's mask mandate is changing following new guidance for fully vaccinated people from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Although Pritzker updated the executive order that will remove the mask requirement for fully vaccinated residents in most settings, those do not include healthcare settings.
Regardless of a person's vaccination status, Illinois residents shall be required to wear a face covering consistent with CDC guidance, including on public transportation, in congregate facilities and in healthcare settings–including dental offices.
