Upcoming Events: ISDS
Each year, the Illinois State Dental Society holds several key meetings for
members. The spring Capital Conference is open to all members and focuses
on legislative and hot topic issues in dentistry. Immediately following
Capital Conference, all incoming component, branch and specialty group presidents
are invited to a special orientation and training session for their term in
office—the President-elect’s Conference.
In the fall, representatives from each local dental society, the Illinois dental schools, and dental hygiene
members convene for the House of Delegates—the Society’s decision-making body—at ISDS Annual Session. Many social
events and other key meetings also take place during Annual Session.
ISDS also sponsors continuing education opportunities statewide for the entire dental team.
