Capital Conference

Capital Conference will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Springfield on April 22-23, 2009.

The new format presented in 2008 will be repeated in 2009 with a Wednesday morning legislative briefing followed by a bus trip to the State Capitol. The trip to the Capitol gives members an opportunity to visit their legislators mid-morning. After returning to the hotel at 12:30 pm, an awards luncheon and general session will be held followed by an evening reception. The site of the legislative reception this year will be the Sangamo Club where members can meet with their legislators and colleagues and have an enjoyable evening. On Thursday morning a breakfast with keynote speaker is scheduled followed by several additional presentations in the general session. The 1st ADA caucus will be held on Thursday afternoon, April 23.
